Aneta L. Pipino, a retired Baltimore County Public Library secretary, died of pneumonia March 28 at Oak Crest Village in Parkville. She was 80 and had lived in Rodgers Forge.

Aneta Loraine Rule was born in Baltimore and raised on Collington Avenue. She was a 1946 Western High School graduate. As a young woman, she worked as a secretary for Maryland Casualty Co.

She married Raymond J. Pipino, a mathematician and systems analyst, in 1950. After raising her family, she went to work for the Baltimore County Public Library as a secretary at the Towson headquarters. She retired in 1994. She was a member of the Johns Hopkins Club and was a Center Stage subscriber.

Plans for a life celebration are incomplete.

Survivors include two sons, John R. Pipino of Chicago and Andrew C.R. Pipino of Pasadena, Calif.; two sisters, Mary Ott of Ellicott City and Orva Rossman of Lutherville; and two granddaughters. Mr. Pipino died in 1982.
