The Baltimore Sun

Jeff Brauner wrote from Baltimore right after the equinox and mused: "What do you suppose Baltimore's and the world's climate would be if the Earth had no tilt, and therefore no seasons?" Yikes! The tropics wouldn't change much, but solar heating would diminish toward the poles, causing deeper, persistent cold there, and more ice. Temperate latitudes like ours would likely have more constant, boring weather, my experts say - a sort of perpetually cool spring or fall, with no blossoms or autumn colors.
