Wrestler of the Year Matt Cross Bel Air

Cross, who was also the county's Wrestler of the Year last year, beat Steven Gamble of Sherwood at 152 pounds to become Harford County's only state champion this season. Cross, a senior, finished the season 40-2 and ended his career as the Bobcats' all-time leader for wins with 144.

Cross also won his second consecutive Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference championship and helped the Bobcats win the league championship. Cross was a regional champion and qualified for the state tournament in each of his four varsity seasons.

Coach of the Year

Craig Reddish Bel Air

Reddish led Bel Air to the Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference tournament championship, avenging a dual-meet loss to Rising Sun. It was Bel Air's first team title since 2000.

Reddish guided the Bobcats to a 19-8 record and also had the county's lone state champion in Matt Cross. In 15 years at the school, Reddish has compiled a 183-82-2 record.

Reddish has been successful in keeping his program competitive by building its depth, even though some athletes are inexperienced when they enter the school.
