On March 27, 2008, DOROTHY GLADUE, 88, of Baltimore. Born July 3, 1919 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Mary (Callahan) Whittington. Beloved wife of the late Dr. J. Raymond Gladue. Loving mother of Rosemary Carpenter, Patricia Chalmers and husband Gerry, Raymond Gladue and his wife Chris and Joseph Gladue. Also surviving are sister, Regina Walker, Mae Jordan and Sister Edwina Whittington; grandchildren, John Knott, Tina Knott and Sean Gladue; great-grandchild, Martin Knott. She was preceded in death by brothers; Edward and Lawrence Whittington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, 11:30 A.M. in St. William of York Catholic Church, 600 Cooks Lane, Baltimore, MD 21236. Interment will be in New Cathedral Cemetery.
