Dana Dobbie had five goals, eight draw controls and four caused turnovers to lead the No. 3 Maryland women's lacrosse team to a 15-10 win over visiting Towson yesterday at Ludwig Field.
Lauren Cohen scored her second straight hat trick and Allie Buote made 12 saves for the Terps (9-1).
Dobbie scored her first three goals within the game's seven minutes.
Hillary Fratzke had two goals and two assists for the Tigers (6-3), who scored the game's final four goals.
Albany 17, UMBC 12 -- Kayla Best and Tee Ladouceur combined for 12 goals and the Great Danes (6-3, 1-1 America East), who trailed 8-6 at halftime, dominated the host Retrievers (2-8, 1-3) in the second half en route to victory. Amanda Pappas had a hat trick for UMBC.
Shenandoah 17, Hood 16, OT -- The visiting Blazers (0-9) scored five goals in the final 5:25 of regulation but fell in overtime to the Hornets (1-7).
Gwynedd-Mercy 14, College of Notre Dame 12 -- Anne Shippen had a game-high seven goals in a losing effort for the visiting Gators (3-3, 1-2 Pennsylvania Athletic Conference).
McDaniel 15, Washington College 13 -- Brittany Baer (Westminster) scored a game-high seven goals to lift the host Green Terror (5-2, 1-1 Centennial Conference) over the Shorewomen (4-5, 0-3).

St. Mary's 14, Mary Washington 4 -- Dennis Rosson (Severn) and Ryan Alexander each had four points in leading host St. Mary's to its third straight win.
