Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore and Baltimore County.



Shooting -- Police were seeking the person who fired a shot in the 900 block of Druid Hill Ave. on Thursday night and wounded a man, 54, in the right leg. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital and released.

Theft -- A purse containing $160 was stolen Friday from a 2007 Ford truck parked in the 100 block of Key Highway.


Theft -- A GPS device valued at $400 was stolen over the weekend from a 2004 Ford truck parked in the 400 block of N. Patterson Park Ave.


Robbery -- A 90-year-old resident of a senior-care center in the 2400 block of W. Belvedere Ave. reported over the weekend that between March 14 and Tuesday, someone entered her room and stole her wedding ring valued at $1,800.


Stolen vehicle -- A blue 2007 Ford F150 pickup was stolen Friday in the 1600 block of E. Lombard St.

Theft -- Three electric drills - all valued at $700 - were stolen over the weekend from a 1998 Jeep parked in the 2200 block of E. Pratt St.

Theft -- A GPS device and tools were stolen Friday from a 2008 Toyota parked on a lot in the 6300 block of Eastern Ave.

Burglary -- Someone broke into a house under renovation in the 2000 block of Fleet St. between Thursday and Friday and stole a generator, faucets, tools and other items - all valued at nearly $1,800.

Burglary -- A stove, microwave oven and other appliances were stolen between Feb. 26 and March 1 from a house in the 2300 block of E. Fayette St. by someone who entered after breaking a window. The burglary was reported Friday.

Theft -- A 2001 Jeep was parked in the 600 block of Oldham St. over the weekend when someone removed its exhaust system, valued at $1,600.


Theft -- An iPod valued at $300 was stolen Thursday from a 1999 Chrysler parked in the 1100 block of Williams St.

Burglary -- Parts to an air conditioner - all valued at $1,350 - were stolen between March 6 and Thursday from a house under construction in the 8100 block of Dotty Road.
