One person dead, two injured in collision

A Baltimore man was killed and two other people were injured yesterday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash near the intersection of Interstate 695 and Philadelphia Road, in the Golden Ring area of eastern Baltimore County.

Baltimore County police said officers responded to the crash about 3:40 p.m.

One of the victims, who was driving a 2002 Hyundai, was taken to Franklin Square Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said. Two other victims were taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. The other cars involved in the crash were a 2007 Hyundai and a 2000 Volkswagen.

Police did not release the identities of the victims or further details of the accident, which remains under investigation.
