Victim named -- Marcus Hughes, 36, of the 800 block of Briar Hill Place in Essex, Baltimore County, was identified as the man who was shot Saturday in the 1800 block of E. 28th St. and died Monday at Johns Hopkins Hospital. No arrest had been made.
Robbery/arrests -- Three teenage boys were arrested Sunday night and charged as juveniles with the armed robbery of a 13-year-old boy a short time earlier in the 800 block of Bridgeview Road in Cherry Hill. The victim was walking down the street about 7:15 p.m. when three youths, one armed with what turned out to be a BB gun, struck him several times, then robbed him of his cell phone, valued at $40. The boys were released into the custody of their parents.
Burglary -- Kitchen cabinets, a heater, two doors, three medicine cabinets, three light fixtures, eight portable heaters, a sink, a toilet and a refrigerator - all valued at nearly $4,450 - were stolen Sunday or Monday from a vacant house in the 2400 block of Barclay St.
Carjacking -- Two men, one armed with a handgun, forced the driver of a silver-colored 2005 Toyota Corolla out of his car in the 4100 block of Belmar Ave. on Monday evening and drove off. The car has tags 0BD Y69.
Burglaries -- Three homes under construction in the 7700 block of Heathers Lane were broken into over the weekend. Two dishwashers and two stoves were stolen.
Burglary -- Jewelry and a digital video disc - valued together at $3,200 - were stolen Monday from a house in the 2100 block of Redthorn Road by someone who entered through a basement door.
Burglary -- Copper piping valued at $1,500 was stolen over the weekend from a construction site in the 5500 block of Research Park Drive.
