MARGARET L. "Peggy" MEISTER, 76, of Hampstead, died Sunday, February 24, 2008. Born May 30, 1931, in Baltimore , she was the daughter of the late William and Thelma Keithley Jacobs. She was the wife of Frederick E. Meister Jr., her husband of 53 years, who died February 5, 2008. She was a graduate of Southern High School in Baltimore and a member of the Phoenix Junior Choir of Baltimore. She was married October 2, 1954, at Martini Lutheran Church in Baltimore, and settled in Linthicum to raise her family. She was employed in the central payroll division for the State of Maryland before retiring in 1993. After retirement she and her husband moved to Hampstead. She liked making people laugh, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving are sister Jane Shipman; son and daughter-in-law Frederick E. III and Barrie Meister; daughter Carol Meister and grandchildren Sarah, Kelley, Matthew and Michelle. A joint memorial service for the couple will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at Martini Lutheran Church, 100 W. Henrietta Street, Baltimore.
