HR Solutions LLC, a human resources outsourcing and consulting firm, will hold a business breakfast from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Thursday at the Open Door Cafe, 528 Baltimore Pike, Bel Air.
The firm partners with small businesses to help them manage people issues in a cost-effective way.
A topic for the breakfast will be "Contractors or Employees?"

Treatment center buys nearby land
Father Martin's Ashley, an organization that treats alcoholism and chemical dependence, recently purchased the Golf and Country Club of Swan Creek property in Havre de Grace.
The 102-acre golf club opened in 1954. Father Martin's Ashley has operated the nonprofit residential drug and alcohol treatment center on the adjacent 42 acres since 1983.
Ashley's board of directors decided to buy the property when it came up for sale, as a buffer to development.
A spokesperson said the organization does not plan to operate the property as a golf course.
