Salisbury scored the first eight goals in a 22-4 rout of host York yesterday.
The Sea Gulls (5-0, 2-0 Capital Athletic Conference) were led by sophomore Beth Rhodey (Notre Dame Prep), who scored five goals.
York (1-2, 0-2) broke up the Salisbury 8-0 run when Rachel Papsan (two goals) scored a free-position goal. The Sea Gulls responded with four straight goals before each team scored again, making the score 13-2 at halftime.
Washington College 14, Frostburg State 5 -- Junior midfielder Brittany Lambert's three goals led a balanced attack in the visiting Shorewomen's win over the Bobcats (0-1). Junior attacker Suzie Jakub and Sarah Cannon each had two goals and one assist while freshman midfielder Sam Ohrem scored two goals for Washington (1-1).
