The Baltimore Sun

U.S. District Judge William D. Quarles Jr. sentenced Rondell Hackett of Baltimore yesterday to more than 12 1/2 years in prison for conspiracy to distribute more than 5 kilograms of cocaine, federal prosecutors said.

According to his guilty plea, Hackett, 22, stored and delivered cocaine from March to May 2007, collected drug proceeds from customers and agreed to negotiate the purchase of cocaine.

Hackett agreed to distribute more than 5 kilograms but less than 15 kilograms of cocaine, according to court documents. Prosecutors did not say where he distributed cocaine.
