The lowdown -- Tracy Morgan got his start as a stand-up comic, and after being discovered, he went onto his well-known roles on Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock. See how it all started Saturday as he brings his brassy stand-up style to the Lisner Auditorium.

Comedy show

The lowdown -- The unlikely comedy trio of Rabbi Bob Alper, Muslim Azhar Usman and Christian Nazareth will be at the Baltimore Hebrew Congregation Saturday. The interfaith comedy show will benefit the Chesapeake Habitat for Humanity Interfaith Build.

Termite TV screening

The lowdown -- Founded in 1992 and based in Philadelphia, Baltimore and Buffalo, N.Y., Termite TV's video presentations have been broadcast and screened around the world. The collective explores the political, biological and cultural relationship with water at a showing tomorrow at the Creative Alliance at the Patterson. There will also be a Q&A; with collective members.
