Schools to hold job fair Thursday

The county school system will hold a special education recruitment fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday to fill a variety of positions for the 2008-2009 school year.

The fair will be held at the Days Hotel Timonium Conference Center, 9615 Deereco Road.

The system is seeking special educators, speech pathologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, teachers of the deaf and hard of hearing, and sign language interpreters.

Essex

School boundaries subject of hearing

The county Board of Education will hold a hearing on proposed boundaries for Vincent Farm Elementary School at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Stemmers Run Middle School, 201 Stemmers Run Road, Essex.

The new school is slated to open in August.
