After ups and downs, Harper at height of Terps career

The Baltimore Sun

COLLEGE PARK -- From moment to moment, Laura Harper's face can display the near full range of visible emotions, and during her four years at Maryland, her big brother, Will, has seen them all.

Will Harper saw the pain in the Terps center's face after she ruptured her Achilles' tendon as a freshman. He saw the joy after she was named the Most Outstanding Player in the Final Four two years ago to cap Maryland's national title run, and he saw the anguish last year when the tears cascaded down her face after the Terps were bounced from the NCAA tournament as they failed to defend their title.
