The Kings Contrivance Village Earth Day cleanup of the neighborhood's open space is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 29. The east Columbia branch library's "Morning Books With Coffee" book club will discuss Don't Make a Scene, by Valerie Block, at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The library's Black Fiction book club will meet at 1 p.m. Saturday to discuss Butterscotch Blues, by Margaret Johnson-Hodge.
The Good Reads book club will discuss What is the What, by Dave Eggers, at 7 p.m. March 12.
