Technical job fair set at Fort Meade

Fort Meade Morale, Welfare and Recreation will sponsor a technical job fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Club Meade, 6600 Mapes Road.

Eighty employers will accept applications from job seekers for more than 4,000 positions.

Job seekers should bring copies of their resumes and be prepared for interviews.

The event is co-sponsored by the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, Anne Arundel One Stop Career Center and Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corp.

Exchange schedules networking event

The Entrepreneurs Exchange will hold "Fondue, Wine, Friends, and Fun," a casual networking event for members, small business owners and entrepreneurs, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Boys & Girls Club, 1903 Copeland St., Annapolis.

The cost is $25 for members, $35 for nonmembers.

Entrepreneurship in new publication

The Business Monthly will debut a new publication, the Maryland Entrepreneur Quarterly.

The new publication is in response to a growing trend of entrepreneurship. It will be published in March, May, August and November and will be distributed throughout the state.

Leadership group aims to recruit

Leadership Anne Arundel will hold a recruitment happy hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. March 5 at the Big Fish Grille, 1260 S. Crain Highway, Crofton.

Organization seeks awards nominees

The Maryland Capital Chapter of the American Business Women's Association is accepting nominations for the "Women Make a Difference," "Woman of the Year," "Rookie of the Year" and "Mentor of the Year" awards.
