Masked man robs store at gunpoint

A man robbed a Crofton convenience store at gunpoint, Anne Arundel County police said.

The masked robber entered the Crofton Village Mart at the intersection of routes 3 and 450 about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money. The robber fled on foot.

Dollar General in Glen Burnie robbed

A man robbed a Glen Burnie dollar store by shoving the cashier aside and grabbing money from the register, county police said.

The robber entered the Dollar General Store at 7385 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd. about 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Man's car, passenger missing since Feb. 13

A Shady Side man who went into a liquor store returned to find his car - and his friend in the passenger seat - had disappeared, Annapolis police said.

The man said he discovered his gray 2006 Kia Spectra missing after coming out of Parole Liquors at 2125 Forest Drive about 11:45 p.m. Feb. 13. He has been trying to contact his friend ever since, without success. The car's tag is Maryland 2BVB33.

Door sign at pet store stolen

Someone stole the entrance sign to a downtown Annapolis pet store, city police said.

The 2-by-3-foot exterior sign of Paws Pet Boutique at 64 State Circle was stolen overFeb. 19. It is valued at $300.

Annapolis drug raid nets 2 arrests

Two men were arrested in a drug raid on an Annapolis apartment, city police said.

Police issued a search warrant at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday at 1175 Madison St. Rodell Joseph Hicks, 19, and Iarone Leon Sellman, 29, were charged with possession of drugs with the intent to distribute.
