Victim named -- Police yesterday released the name of the man fatally shot early Monday outside Paradox Nightclub in the 1000 block of Russell St. Police said Murriel Chew, 20, of the 4400 block of Franconia Drive, was involved in a dispute with another man outside the club about 2:30 a.m. when he was shot and pronounced dead at the scene. No arrest had been made. Metro Crime Stoppers at 410-276-8888 is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and an indictment.

Shooting -- Police were seeking whoever shot a man, 22, in both legs in the 5800 block of The Alameda about 10 p.m. Wednesday. The victim was dropped off at Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was treated and was expected to survive.

Victim identified -- Police yesterday identified Cumberland Richardson Jr., 62, of the 1900 block of Herbert St. as the man found shot to death Feb. 2 on a playground in the 1600 block of W. Lafayette Ave. A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered by Metro Crime Stoppers at 410-276-8888 for information leading to an arrest and an indictment.

Stolen vehicle -- A tan 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt with tags 3CH L98 was stolen Wednesday in the 200 block of S. Conkling St.
Theft -- A radio valued at $700 was stolen Wednesday from a 2006 Ford parked in the 100 block of N. Lakewood Ave.

Stolen vehicle -- After the owner of a black 1995 Dodge Stratus with tags 5DG R30 parked his car outside a Citgo station in the 1200 block of E. North Ave. Wednesday night with the keys in the ignition, three men entered the car and drove off.

Burglary -- Jewelry, watches, cash and coins - all valued at $23,000 - were stolen Wednesday from a house in the first block of Lovebird Court by someone who entered through the front door.
Cockeysville
Robbery try -- Moments after a male, 18, got off a bus at Cranbrook and Ridgeland roads about noon Wednesday another male he recognized as a former high school classmate attempted to rob him at knifepoint. The armed man fled when the victim deflected the knife. A warrant was to have been issued for the suspect's arrest.
