Robbery try/cutting -- Police were seeking a man armed with a knife who attempted to rob another man in the 200 block of Spring Court about 3:30 a.m. Sunday and cut him during a struggle. The victim was walking down the street when he was stopped by the other man who said, "What do you have in your pocket?" Rather than give up his property, the victim struggled and was cut on the left hand, chin and the top of his head. The attacker fled and the victim was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital and was reported in good condition.

Theft -- A GPS device valued at $400 was stolen Sunday from a 2007 Volkswagen Jetta parked in the 3000 block of E. Fairmount Ave.

Theft -- A 2003 Land Rover was parked in the 2900 block of McElderry St. on Sunday when someone broke a window and stole a laptop computer and brief case valued at $3,200.

Theft -- Someone broke into a 2003 Jeep Liberty parked in the 600 block of N. Caroline St. Sunday and stole a GPS device valued at $300.

Franklin

Robbery -- A man, 21, was driving a male friend, 18, to a party about 9 p.m. Sunday when he stopped in the 300 block of Chatsworth Ave. to count his money. The passenger grabbed the money and bolted from the car. Taken was $160.
