Western
Shooting -- A man was shot while seated in his car at the intersection of Arlington Avenue and West Saratoga Street about 1 p.m. yesterday then drove a short distance to where the car came to a stop. Police responding to a report of an injured person inside a car at West Saratoga Street and North Carrollton Avenue found the man bleeding from a gunshot wound to the chest. The man, whose name was not released, was taken by a Fire Department ambulance to Maryland Shock Trauma and was expected to survive.
Eastern
Robbery -- Police said a woman and man, known as "Mike," entered Triangle Liquors in the 2100 block of Homewood Ave. about 7:30 a.m. Saturday while a female employee was opening the store. The man implied he had a gun and ordered the employee to give him the contents of a cash register. After receiving the money, the pair grabbed a bottle of whiskey and cognac and fled. The pair forced a motorist to drive them a short distance before they fled on foot.
Southeastern
Stolen vehicle -- Police were seeking a tan 1999 Toyota Corolla with tags 3CZ M48 that was stolen Friday in the 100 block of S. Patterson Park Ave.
Northwestern
Theft -- A 2007 Nissan Altima was parked on the Home Depot lot in the 6500 block of Reisterstown Road on Saturday when someone stole the vehicle's tags. The tags are 9CS L98.
Baltimore County

Burglary -- An undisclosed number of auto batteries were stolen Saturday from a storage shed at Sam's Club in the first block of Texas Station Court by someone who cut a padlock to enter.
