ALDA LOUISE CISSEL of Highland, Maryland died on February 4, 2008 at her home surrounded by her devoted family and friends. She was 91 years old. Born December 8, 1916, Ms. Cissel was the daughter of the late Molly Harding Cissel and Christopher Claude Cissel, Sr. She is survived by her loving sister and brother, Mary Vawter of Ashland, VA and Christopher Claude Cissel, Jr. of Clarksville, MD. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews and close friends. A memorial service will be held on February 23, 2008 at 2 P.M. at Mt. Zion Methodist Church located at 12430 Scaggsville Road in Highland, MD. 20777.
