COLLEGE PARK -- Gary Williams insisted Friday that when his Maryland men's basketball team played Florida State yesterday at Comcast Center, the Terps wouldn't feel any aftereffects from their loss at Duke earlier in the week.

Though Williams acknowledged yesterday that he was wrong, it was his players who made things right.
