XPERTECHS of Ellicott City received a contract from Basile Baumann Prost Cole and Associates Inc. to provide the economic and real estate development firm with new servers and network infrastructure.
Expansion
Gordon, Feinblatt, Rothman, Hoffberger & Hollander LLC said the Baltimore law firm has expanded its practice with the addition of a real estate workouts and restructuring group to provide counsel to real estate lenders as well as commercial and residential developers and builders.
New name
The Maryland Industrial Group, which has represented the energy-related industrial and manufacturing users of energy, has changed its name to Maryland Energy Group to reflect the addition of other, larger energy consumers.
On the board
Cheryl Hitchcock, a vice president at Morgan State University, and Paula Rome, president of Paula Rome Jewelry, were named to the board of Baltimore Hotel Corp., which is responsible for development and management of the $230 million, 757-room Hilton Baltimore Convention Center Headquarters Hotel under construction at 401 W. Pratt St.
Bonnie K. Heneson, president of Owings Mills-based Bonnie Heneson Communications, was elected chairwoman of the board of the Children's Guild.

Microtech Solutions, an electronic engineering and software design firm, relocated to expanded space in the corporate office park being developed at the former Fort Ritchie military base in Washington County.

The Mall in Columbia added four new national retailers, Williams-Sonoma; dELIA's, a teen fashions and room furnishings store; Pumpkin Patch, a fashion kidswear company; and FACES Cosmetics.
