On February 8, 2008, DR. HELEN J. GOODWIN; loving mother of Senator Delores Kelley, Dr. Norma Goodwin, Barbara Cuffie, Phyllis Anderson and son Stefan Goodwin, Ph.D. She is also survived by her sister, Flora Blanchard; grandchildren, Walter Wilson, Esq., Norma Johnson, Councilwoman Helen Holton, Russell Kelley, III, Melva Grant, Brian Kelley, Ph.D., and Jothi Fox and a host other relatives and friends. Friends may call at the family owned MARCH FUNERAL HOME WEST, INC., 4300 Wabash Avenue on Friday after 9 A.M., where family will receive friends from 5 to 7P.M. Family will also receive friends on Saturday at Payne Memorial Church AME, 1714 Madison Avenue at 10:30 A.M., followed by funeral service at 11 A.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Coppin State University Foundation for the Dr. Helen Goodwin Scholarship Fund.
