The 13th Annual Black Heritage Art Show will bring music, art, seminars, celebrities and more to the Baltimore Convention Center. The three-day event includes a silent art auction, a WEAA-sponsored jazz performance, appearances by Jermaine Crawford of The Wire and gospel artist David Chance, and a musical performance competition.

CONCERT

THE SOUND OF GARFUNKEL

After a successful duet career with Paul Simon, Art Garfunkel recorded 15 solo albums, acted in several films and published three books of poetry. He released his latest album, Some Enchanted Evening, which pays homage to some of the most prominent songwriters of all time -- including Rodgers & Hammerstein and George Gershwin -- in 2007. For Valentine's Day weekend, the former member of legendary group Simon & Garfunkel performs classics such as "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and "Mrs. Robinson" and selections from his newest album during concerts with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.

TIME FOR 'HIGH SCHOOL'

Troy Bolton, Gabriella Montez and their theatrical love story have become larger than life to millions of tweens around the globe. The Disney original movie High School Musical unexpectedly took the world by storm two years ago and has gone on to spawn one sequel with another one planned. The stage version of this story of adolescence, peer pressure and being true to oneself comes to the Hippodrome Theatre from Tuesday through March 2.
