Spiritual dance
The lowdown -- The Full Circle Dance Company -- a local, ethnically diverse modern dance troupe -- presents Sacred Body: In Response to Religion, a program featuring physical representations of spirituality and personal experiences from local community members, at the Baltimore Museum of Art. A yearlong project focusing on religion, culture and faith inspired the work. Guest company Native America's People, which will demonstrate the spirituality of dance within indigenous cultures, and gospel singer Alton McClain Scarborough will also perform.
If you go -- The show begins at 7 p.m. Saturday. The museum is at 10 Art Museum Drive. Tickets are $15. Call 410-235-9003 or go to fullcircledance.org. 'Yellow' fever
The lowdown -- Charlotte Perkins Gilman, who in the late 19th century underwent "rest cure"-- a treatment for "nervous distress" (probably postpartum depression) that included almost constant bed rest, social isolation, a fatty diet and avoidance of all creative activity -- used her horrid experience as inspiration for a short story. The Peabody Chamber Opera presents the world premiere of The Yellow Wallpaper, based on this work, which many consider an early feminist classic. The opera's heroine endures confinement -- imposed by her husband -- in a room with peeling yellow wallpaper and loses her sanity.
If you go -- The performances are 8 p.m. today-Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at Theatre Project, 45 W. Preston St. Tickets are $10-$24. Call 410-752-8558 or go to theatreproject.org. A women's issues forum precedes each evening performance at 7:15. Question-and-answer sessions with the composer, librettist and director follow today's and tomorrow's performances.

Dynamic duo
The lowdown -- Pianist Wu Han and cellist David Finckel, artistic directors of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, are two of the most dynamic players on the scene today. That they are also married only adds to the remarkable level of musical intercommunication in their performances. Presented by Candlelight Concerts, the duo will be heard in what promises to be an eventful, incisive program of Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms and Webern. Wu Han and Finckel will also give a master class for area students.
If you go -- The concert is at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Wilde Lake Interfaith Center, 10431 Twin Rivers Road, Columbia. Tickets are $12-$29. Call 443-367-3122 or go to candelightconcerts.org. The master class is at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Monteabaro Recital Hall, Howard Community College, 10901 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia. Tickets are $5-$10. Reservations recommended. Call 410-772-4801 or 410-772-4914.
