High-flying home videos

The Baltimore Sun

Every day, folks find new uses for this magical thing we call the Internet.

Baltimore's own Rudy Gay, now playing for the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies, has appealed for help in the league's All-Star Slam Dunk Contest in New Orleans by asking high-flyers to post their own best dunks on YouTube. For me, the most impressive ones involve guys doing a somersault on their way to the hoop.

Gay said he plans to use the best slams in the contest. His rules are no props allowed and nothing that's obviously unsafe.

Imagine what Johnny Knoxville could conjure up without those rules.
