5 THINGS I HAVE TO HAVE NOW

THE BALTIMORE SUN

CREIG NORTHROP

ON A TYPICAL WORKday, Maryland native Creig Northrop usually wakes up about 6 a.m. and tries to squeeze in some tennis before getting to work about 9 a.m. Then he begins playing catch up with his e-mail inbox and prepares for bouts of meetings and appointments. It's all part of the job of heading a busy real estate office.

And things are about to get even busier. Creig Northrop and the Northrop Team, Long & Foster Real Estate, which operates four offices in Maryland, will open a fifth in Montgomery County this spring.

Still, Northrop, 40, can dream about having a bit of down time -- a luxurious vacation home, a bit of golf.

He has four children and lives with his wife in Ellicott City.
