The Maryland Capital Chapter of the American Business Women's Association will hold its monthly membership meeting and dinner from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Sheraton Barcelo, 173 Jennifer Road in Annapolis.

Lynn Cohen, owner of Project You Image Consulting, will discuss "Image + Attitude = Success!" and Kiesett Collier-Newton of Collier Realty Group will speak on "Real Estate Investing Your Way to Financial Security."

The cost is $35 with reservations; $45 at the door.

Leadership group to hold breakfast

Leadership Anne Arundel will hold its first Fireside Breakfast of 2008 from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Feb. 26 in Room 219, Cade Center of Fine Arts, Anne Arundel Community College, 101 College Parkway, Arnold.

Speakers Jon Arason and George Cardwell will examine "Traffic Jams! Traffic Challenges and Plans for Annapolis and Anne Arundel County between 2008 and 2020."

The breakfast is free to active, dues-paying Leadership Anne Arundel members, current LAA Flagship program members, and the Neighborhood Leadership Academy. The cost is $30 for nonmembers and guests.

BWI partnership to meet Thursday

The BWI Business Partnership will hold its monthly signature breakfast meeting from 7:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport, 1739 W. Nursery Road in Linthicum.

Howard County Executive Ken Ulman will address transportation issues.

The cost of the breakfast meeting ranges from free to $5 for members; $40 for others. Reservations are required by Tuesday.

Pirate Adventures adds ship, expands

Pirate Adventures on the Chesapeake is expanding, adding a ship and a new location for the 2008 season.

The new ship, Sea Gypsy VI, a 40-foot lobster boat, will be converted into a pirate ship.

The new location is Pirate Adventures of the Outer Banks in Manteo, N.C.
