Police seek pair on bikes who attacked, robbed man

Anne Arundel County police are looking for two males who assaulted another man and robbed him of cash Wednesday night in Glen Burnie.

Police went to the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie about 10:20 p.m. after receiving a report of an attack.

The victim told police he was walking on a path behind the state Motor Vehicle Administration when two males on bikes approached him. One of the men punched him and took an unknown amount of money from his pocket.

Glen Burnie home invaded by robbers

A group of men burst into a Glen Burnie home at gunpoint and stole money from the residents, Anne Arundel County police said.

The victims reported the home invasion in the 100 block of Chester Circle took place about 11 p.m. Monday. As the four or five masked robbers fled, one of them pointed a gun at a neighbor who was trying to help the victims.

Man, 34, is shot outside his Severna Park home

A 34-year-old Anne Arundel County man was shot outside his home about 12:40 a.m. Wednesday, police said.

Michael D. Allaire of Barrensdale Drive in Severna Park told police he was attacked in his driveway as he and his girlfriend returned home. He was shot in the upper torso.

After being shot, he drove to a 7-Eleven store on Route 2 in Arnold, where he summoned help from an off-duty police officer.

Allaire was listed as stable with non-life-threatening injuries at Maryland Shock Trauma Center, police said.

No arrests have been made.
