Campaigning in Maryland

Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee plans a campaign appearance today in College Park, and the two Democratic candidates are scheduled to hold rallies Monday in Maryland.

Huckabee, the former Arkansas governor, is scheduled to speak at noon in the Stamp Student Union at the University of Maryland, College Park. The Republican front-runner, Sen. John McCain of Arizona, spoke at a Halethorpe dinner Thursday night.

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama also plans to hold a rally Monday in College Park. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. for his speech at the Comcast Center on the university campus. The event is open to the public, but the Illinois senator's campaign encourages attendees to RSVP on the Internet at my.barackobama.com/collegepark.

Later that day, Obama is scheduled to speak at the 1st Mariner Arena in downtown Baltimore. Doors open at 2:45 p.m. To RSVP for the event, visit http:--md.barackobama.com/baltimore.

Sen. Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign announced yesterday that she also will appear Monday in Maryland. The New York Democrat has not released details of the event.
