May 4: In the rematch in Baltimore, Bedard holds the Blue Jays to one run over eight innings and strikes out 12 in a 5-1 win.

May 21: Bedard wins his fifth straight decision, blanking the Philadelphia Phillies over seven innings and striking out seven in a 7-0 victory.

2006

May 17: Bedard defeats the Boston Red Sox, 4-3, allowing one run and two hits over seven innings.

June 21: The Florida Marlins are no match for Bedard, who doesn't allow a run in eight innings in a 4-0 win.

July 3: Only a bases-empty home run smudges Bedard's line, as he limits the Chicago White Sox to two hits and strikes out seven in an 8-1 win.

Sept. 13: Bedard quiets the potent Boston bats, shutting out the Red Sox on two hits over seven innings in a 4-0 victory.

Sept. 18: The Tampa Bay Devil Rays settle for an unearned run in a 4-1 loss, with Bedard striking out 10 in seven innings.

2007

May 9: The Devil Rays fail to push across a run in seven innings, and Bedard strikes out 10 in a 1-0 victory.

May 20: Bedard strikes out 12 over seven innings and allows just one run, but the bullpen mishandles his lead in a 4-3 loss in Washington.

May 30: Bedard shuts out the Kansas City Royals over eight innings, scattering four hits in a 3-0 road win.

June 27: The New York Yankees manage only two hits in seven innings, and Bedard strikes out eight in a 4-0 win.

July 7: Bedard gets that long-awaited first complete game in grand fashion, striking out 15 and allowing two hits in a 3-0 victory in Texas.

July 13: There's no letdown in his next start, as Bedard shuts out the White Sox over seven innings and strikes out seven in a 2-0 win.

July 20: Still on a roll, Bedard allows one run and one hit in seven innings, and strikes out 11, in a 6-1 victory in Oakland.

Aug. 15: Any win at Yankee Stadium is notable, and Bedard shuts out New York over seven innings, striking out eight, in a 6-3 win.
