Wayne Newton

Mr. Las Vegas himself, Wayne Newton, will perform Monday at the Lyric Opera House to benefit the Grand Guardian Scholarship. An early staple of Jackie Gleason and Jack Benny's shows, Newton has a voice that took him to Las Vegas where, for several decades, he has performed in venues such as the Stardust and Hilton. Newton continues to be a public figure, appearing in cameo roles and most recently on Dancing with the Stars. The Lyric Opera House is at 140 W.
