Ulman to speak at Feb. 14 breakfast

Howard County Executive Ken Ulman will speak at the BWI Business Partnership's Signature Breakfast, to be held from 7:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Feb. 14 at the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport Hotel, 1739 West Nursery Road, Linthicum.

Registration is required by Tuesday. Partnership members can attend at no charge or pay $25, depending on their membership level. Nonmembers pay $40, if seats are available.

Data recovery in disasters is topic

DP Solutions will join EVault, a subsidiary of Seagate Technology in California, in a seminar on developments in disc-to-disc data protection and the usefulness of EVault's InfoStage Software in preparing disaster recovery solutions.

The seminar will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 28 at Ecker Business Training Center, 6751 Columbia Gateway Drive, Columbia. Admission is free.

DP Solutions, an EVault reseller with headquarters in Columbia, was founded in 1971. EVault provides software for small and medium-size businesses to back up data online, encrypt it and allow recovery in case of a disaster.
