BOYS BASKETBALL Howard @ Marriotts Ridge Tomorrow, 5:30 p.m. Outlook: Going into the week, the teams shared first place in the county with 12-1 marks. The host Mustangs handed the Lions their first county loss with a 69-63 road win Dec. 17. The rematch should come down to which team executes its game plan better. The Lions, who recorded a key 55-53 win over Atholton on Friday, have a strong inside game led by 6-foot-6 senior C MacGyver Bibiak and 6-5 senior F Jon Moore, while the Mustangs do most of their work along the perimeter, led by senior G Kevin Seker. The Lions were able to find a way to win a close game Friday, which should help them execute in the closing minutes of another tightly contested game. THE SUN'S PICK: Howard

GIRLS BASKETBALL Oakland Mills @ No. 5 Mt. Hebron

Outlook: The Scorpions gave the undefeated Vikings one of their toughest games before falling, 45-37, in December. The visitors have one of the county's top players in senior G Miriam Mc- Kenize, who averages 27 points a game and has the ability to take over a game in a number of ways. All season, the Vikings have counted on their strong team defense, with a balanced offense led by senior F Deanna Dydynski and junior G Brittany Bowen. Mount Hebron's first priority will be trying to contain McKenize, so teammates Gabby Barnes, Nicole Hill and Monet Nias will have to step up for the Scorpions to have a chance. THE SUN'S PICK: Mount Hebron
