Downtown Phoenix emptied out yesterday, as thousands of Super Bowl visitors headed for Sky Harbor International Airport and - for the multitudes from New York and New England - back to the chilly Northeast.

The Monday after the Super Bowl usually is a good day to shop for souvenirs, because vendors often slash their prices to extract a few more dollars from the departing tourists. It'll be time to stock the shelves with spring training gear in just another week or two.

I haven't checked yet, but I'm guessing you can get a really good deal on anything with "19-0" on it.
