METTILLE, JOHN E.

On January 31, 2008 JOHN E. METTILLE beloved husband of the late Lillian R. Mettille; devoted father of Mary Daly, Gloria Lemley, Theresa Smith, Dianne Kelly and Jacqueline Thompson. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 1408 Old Eastern Avenue on Tuesday at 9 A.M. Visiting will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Monday 3-5 and 7-9 P.M. Entombment Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
