3 more robbery arrests

The Baltimore Sun

Baltimore County police arrested and charged three more men in the robbery of a McDonald's restaurant in Cockeysville this week, including one who had once worked there, a police spokesman said yesterday.

Edward James Burgos Tilton, 22; Kristopher Thomas Horner, 23; and James Lawrence Stritehoff, 25, were arrested in different locations in the county Thursday, said police spokesman Bill Toohey. Charges against Tilton include seven counts of armed robbery, and charges against Horner and Stritehoff include one count each of armed robbery, he said.

Horner's brother, Brandon Tyler Horner, 28, was arrested Wednesday and charged with one count of armed robbery.

Stritehoff had worked at the restaurant in the 11300 block of York Road as part of a work-release program, and police believe that he held a grudge against a manager because of a pay dispute, Toohey said.

Tilton was arrested at a house in the 100 block of Compass Road, Kristopher Horner at a motel in the 8700 block of Loch Bend Road, and Stritehoff in a car in the 5800 block of Farmview Ave., Toohey said.

All four men were being held at the county detention center yesterday, he said.

According to police and witnesses, three masked men wearing black hooded sweat shirts came into the restaurant displaying guns late Tuesday.

Toohey said police were trying to determine which three men entered the restaurant while a fourth man drove a getaway car.
