Super Bowl week is all about the parties, some of which have become so popular there's an aftermarket for invitations.

Last year, invites to the Playboy and Maxim parties were being traded on the street for up to $1,500. The Maxim bash was the hottest ticket last night. Playboy and Penthouse will throw competing bacchanals tonight.

Everybody who's anybody at Super Bowl week is going to be at one of those two big-time bashes, which probably explains why my ticket hasn't arrived.

That's too bad, because I sent one of my best Aloha shirts (Super Bowl Size XLII) to the dry cleaner just for the occasion.
