Anna M. Repetti, a homemaker and founder of a church gift shop, died of cancer Jan. 23 at Dove House Hospice in Westminster. The Woodbine resident was 99.

Anna Falise was born in Baltimore, the daughter of Italian immigrant parents and was raised on Pearl Street and later in Park Heights.

After graduating from Eastern High School, she worked in a shoe factory until she married Carl C. Repetti in 1928.

Mr. Repetti, who had been sales director for Baltimore Gas and Electric Co.'s retail stores, died last year.

Until moving to Woodbine in 2004, Mrs. Repetti lived for many years in Randallstown, where she had been an active communicant of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church. She was a member of the Sodality and enjoyed preparing Italian food for church suppers.

In 1955, Mrs. Repetti and a friend, Mary Portera, established the gift shop at St. Jude Shrine in the 300 block of N. Paca St.

She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and taking gambling trips to Atlantic City.

A Mass of Christian burial was offered at St. Jude Shrine on Monday.

Surviving are two sons, Carl F. Repetti of Sykesville and John R. Repetti of Marriottsville; a daughter, Rosemary Broussard of Woodbine; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
