The lowdown -- Electric Junkyard Garden, a group that plays original instruments like the big barp, an electric rubber band harp, and the terraphone, a copper pipe horn; multimedia artist and performer Shannon Wong-Lerner; and poet Eileen Myles take part in Charm City Kitty Club's Groundhog Day! tomorrow and Saturday at the Creative Alliance.

The lowdown -- The Baltimore Blues Society hosts renowned blind vocalist George Leh and other former members of Boston-based group Powerhouse Saturday at Fish Head Cantina. The performance will include Tom Principato on guitar, Steve Jacobs on bass, Tommy Lepson on organ, Joe Wells on drums, and a three-piece horn section.

The lowdown -- Adam Duritz of the Counting Crows and Dave Gibbs of Low Stars will perform tomorrow at Rams Head Live for the Carson Harris Foundation's "Feel Good Fest," which aims to raise funds and awareness for pediatric neurological disorders. The Flood will also perform. All proceeds benefit the John M. Freeman Pediatric Epilepsy Center at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
