One firefighter was injured yesterday afternoon while he and more than 50 others battled a stubborn single-alarm fire in the Caveswood community near Garrison, a Baltimore County Fire Department spokesman said.
Reported at 4:40 p.m. in the 2900 block of Caves Road, the fire went through the roof of the brick rancher. Lt. John Cromwell, the spokesman, said an Owings Mills Volunteer Fire Company member suffered a wrist injury and was treated at Sinai Hospital.
The fire, which is under investigation, was declared under control at 7:06 p.m.
