Homicide charge in student's death
A Baltimore County man charged in October with a dozen traffic offenses in the hit-and-run death of a Towson University freshman has been indicted on vehicular homicide charges.
Matthew David Miller, 25, of the Loch Raven Heights area of Baltimore County, was charged last week in a 20-count indictment.
He is charged in the Oct. 13 death of Kevin Ryan, 18, who was struck by a car while walking to his dormitory.
Miller has denied being involved in an accident and told police that his vehicle had been taken in a carjacking.
