Outlook -- The Blast carries a two-game winning streak into this game against its old rival, which stands second in the MISL, a half-game behind Detroit. The Blast won the first meeting, 13-8, on Oct. 27 and is 6-2 at home. The Wave brings in the league's leading scorer, Greg Howes (69 points), and goalkeeper Nick Vorberg (9-5). Blast defender P.J. Wakefield and goalie Dave Kern, who excelled in a 12-6 victory at Philadelphia on Saturday, were MISL Players of the Week at their respective positions.
