The Baltimore Sun

Maryland State Police in Westminster said yesterday that they were searching for a man who robbed the BB&T; bank in Finksburg Plaza.

The man entered the bank at Routes 91 and 140 about 10 a.m. Thursday and implied he had a firearm. He was given an undisclosed amount of cash, which he placed in a manila envelope, authorities said.

Police said the man might have had a black notebook, portfolio or briefcase with him at the time of the robbery.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 866-7LOCKUP or the Westminster barracks at 410-386-3000.
