ROBERT J. MITCHELL died on December 9, 2007 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Mitchell, 65, a Baltimore native and a Calvert Hall graduate, was an instructor and administrator at the school from 1965 to 1969. He later moved to New York City to work for Degusa Corp. After many years of extensive travel with the company, he moved permanently to Fort Lauderdale, where he taught in high school and later worked in the travel industry. He was a graduate of Villanova University. Mitchell was born Oct. 9,1942, to the late Margaret C. and John R. Mitchell. He is survived by his sister, Beverly A. Scheil, widow of Paul Scheil; his niece, Mary Claire Schmidt, and her husband, Bob Schmidt; his nephew, Dr. Paul J Scheil, Jr., and his wife, Dr. Janet Scheil; three great nieces, a great nephew and a long time devoted friend, John Beauregard. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 in the Calvert Hall College High School chapel, 8102 Lasalle Road, Towson
