Paul M. Moore, who had been the Public Editor of The Sun since May of 2004, is taking on new duties as Deputy Managing Editor in charge of operations of the daily newspaper. He will supervise the photography department as well as the news, copy and design desks. Moore will continue to help oversee The Sun's relations with its readers -- including answering questions about news content and managing corrections -- but will no longer write a weekly column for IDEAS.
