Workshop set on Taiji Ruler

Karl Ardo, a certified teacher of the Chinese system of qi gong healing, will offer a workshop on Taiji Ruler, a series of movements said to stimulate acupuncture points and promote healing for the practitioner or others.

The class, which can be used for healing self or others, or as a preparation for body work, will be offered from noon to 5 p.m. Feb. 23 at Baltimore Center for Wellness, 3691 Park Ave., Ellicott City. The cost is $90.

The class can be taken with or without the "ruler," which costs $50 and will be available to purchase on the day of the class. The ruler acts as a bridge between the hands to amplify the body's energy.
