EDWARD KLOSINSKI, 65

Polish cinematographer

Polish cinematographer Edward Klosinski, who worked with Oscar-winning director Andrzej Wajda and director Krzysztof Kieslowski, died Saturday at his home in Milanowek, Poland, near Warsaw. He was diagnosed with lung cancer during the summer, the Association of Polish Filmmakers said.

Mr. Klosinski worked on about 70 movies. He was the favorite cinematographer of Mr. Wajda, who was awarded an honorary Oscar in 2000 for lifetime achievement.
